Our commitment

Haburah Explorations operates haburahexplorations.com. Your privacy is part of the relationship we build with you. We do not sell personal information, share it with advertising partners for targeted advertising, or use activity on this site to follow you with ads elsewhere. This applies whether or not money changes hands.

We ask for your affirmative permission before collecting optional information about how you explore the site. The purpose is to improve the usefulness, clarity and accessibility of our work. You can decline that invitation and continue reading.

This policy covers the research and conversation offered through our website and communications with us. It explains the information involved, its purposes and your choices. If we introduce purchases or another service that needs additional information, we will explain that collection before asking you to use it.

Information you choose to share

When you contact us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address and the contents of your message. If you include a phone number or other personal details, those are also part of the information you have sent. Please share only what is needed for the conversation.

We use this information to respond, investigate the question you raise and carry out requests you make. Contacting us does not subscribe you to promotional messages or give consent for optional browsing analytics. We ask separately before publishing your message, using it as a testimonial or identifying you in our research. Any invitation to receive ongoing updates requires its own choice, which you can withdraw.

Optional information about your exploration

With your consent, we may use analytics to understand which pages people explore, which links they select and where the website is useful or confusing. Analytics can involve cookies, device or browser information and identifiers that connect actions within a visit. This information is not necessarily anonymous.

We use it to improve our own research, explanations, navigation and site experience. Consent to this learning does not authorize advertising profiles, cross-site tracking or sharing with advertising partners. We limit collection to the information needed for the stated purpose and do not add unrelated uses under the same permission.

Optional analytics are off until you agree. Continuing to browse, closing a notice or remaining silent is not agreement. You can decline or withdraw consent through Cookie preferences under Terms and Policies in the footer without losing access to our public pages. Withdrawal stops future optional collection covered by that choice; it does not automatically erase information collected earlier. You can ask us about deletion separately.

Information needed to operate the site

Hosting and security services process technical information needed to deliver pages, remember privacy preferences, detect abuse and keep the website functioning. Depending on the function, this can include an IP address, browser information, request details, security logs and necessary cookies. Email services process information needed to deliver and answer messages.

This necessary processing is separate from optional analytics. We do not treat a need to operate the website as permission to collect extra information for advertising or to study your browsing without consent.

Service providers and other disclosures

Shopify hosts the website. Hosting, security, email and any consented analytics providers may process information needed to carry out those services. We limit the information we provide to what is needed for the stated purpose. We do not authorize its use to build advertising audiences or target you across other websites.

Shopify also explains its processing and the rights available directly through its Consumer Privacy Policy and Privacy Portal. Necessary platform processing continues even when you decline optional analytics.

We may disclose information when you specifically ask us to do so or when necessary to comply with a valid legal obligation or protect against fraud, abuse or a security threat. We limit a disclosure to what is appropriate for that purpose.

If you follow a link to another website, that site’s privacy practices apply to what you do there. A link from us does not give that site permission to receive your private correspondence with us.

Where Shopify makes its additional sale or sharing opt-out control available, you can use it on our Your Privacy Choices page. Shopify also honors Global Privacy Control signals in the regions configured for that control. Our own commitment against advertising sharing applies to everyone, whether or not you use either control. These controls are separate from your choice about optional analytics.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose described, necessary security work or applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period can differ between correspondence, consent records, security records and optional analytics. You can ask us which information we retain about you, why we retain it and whether it can be deleted.

We restrict access to people and providers who need it for the stated purpose and use reasonable safeguards. No online system can promise perfect security. Please avoid sending sensitive information that we do not need to answer your question.

Your choices and requests

You can decline or withdraw optional analytics consent. You can also contact us to ask for access to your information, a correction, deletion or a copy. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines, explain any legal or technical limit that affects your request, and may ask for information needed to verify that we are responding to the right person. Exercising privacy choices will not reduce your access to our public research.

Depending on where you live, additional rights, response deadlines, appeal rights and complaint routes may apply. An authorized representative may make a request where permitted by law. You can appeal a decision about your request by contacting us at the address below. You can contact your local data protection authority about concerns. Shopify’s Privacy Portal provides a separate route for requests about processing for which Shopify is responsible.

Children and international processing

Our website is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child has sent us personal information, a parent or guardian can contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.

Service providers may store or process information in a country other than your own. For transfers from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on applicable adequacy decisions or recognized safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where required. You can contact us for information about the providers involved in a request concerning your data.

Changes and contact

We will explain material changes to these practices and update the policy date when a revised policy takes effect. A policy edit alone will not be treated as your consent to a new optional use.
